Meet the Director Nominees for 2021

Peter Buckley

B.Com, MBA, GAICD
I am proud to nominate as director for The Mac Credit Union and continue my association since becoming a director in 2018. We are a strong organisation, with wonderful staff and members who appreciate our personal touch banking. As Deputy Chair of the board and Chair of the Risk Committee I feel a personal stewardship to our history and sense of purpose in guiding our future.

I am currently General Manager of NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation, one of Australia’s largest privately owned engineering service providers and local to our area in Narellan. I actually completed my apprenticeship at NEPEAN, and similar to The Mac, it is an honour to lead this organisation and live in the local community where The Mac operates along with my family.

To date I have held executive and general management roles in ASX, private and membership owned organisations across the engineering, health, aged care, education & community sectors. Additional to The Mac, I have served as Non-Executive Director and Company Member of Warrigal Aged Care and currently serve on the board of The Illawarra Connection.

If elected, I plan to serve The Mac for the full term – Thank you

Sean McGargill
