What is Open Banking?

Open Banking, also known as the Consumer Data Right (or CDR), is a legislation that was passed by the Australian Government that gives you greater access and control over the data that is kept about you. Open Banking enables you to authorise the sharing of your banking information with accredited third parties. It also requires us to share information about all of our banking products.

If you choose to use the Consumer Data Right, your information will be transferred using automated technology which makes the process simple to use while remaining safe and secure.
